Identify a position within the field of criminal justice. Identify a position within the field of criminal justice. You are to research this position and identify all areas that should be assessed in a performance evaluation. You will need to identify all of the categories and subcategories for assessment. Make sure that you provide a short description of each of the areas that you would include in the evaluation process. Further, you must identify a numeric or statement of performance. Example: Rating 1 – 5 (with one the lowest and five the highest) or Poor, Fair, Good…etc.

Once you have the concept, you will then develop your own performance evaluation which must include the heading (all the things to identify the employee to be evaluated), each category and sub-category (on the side) along with rating section along the top. In addition, after each section, you must include a discussion area with directions. At the end, you need to include the rater’s information and who with-in the chain-of-command should be involved.

Your performance evaluation must be complete for that position. At the end of your paper, you need to cite all references used as an endnote. Your assignment must be complete; however, there is a fine line between too much and too little.
