Final Research paper project
Near the end of the semester a 4 to 6 page research paper on some aspect of the media will be due.
The topic will be of your own choice.
You will use APA writing style
You can either choose something that has been discussed in class or included in the book,
or something about the media that has not been discussed in class or in the book.
It can be about a person, program, film, company, media outlet, media system, how an event was covered by the media, an advertisement campaign, or almost anything related to the media.
Media includes radio, TV, films, newspapers, magazines, music recordings, internet, etc.
You should use at least 3 to 5 sources, and these should all be listed in a bibliography at the end of the paper that is not counted as part of the 4 to 6 pages of the paper itself.
DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!
Do not copy and paste from the web.If you can find so can I think of that!If caught cheating or plagiarizing you will fail the assignment and possibly the course.
We will have a class session where we will discuss this assignment and where you can ask about topics you might want to choose.
Take advantage of books, magazines, newspapers, and other sources you can find in the library.
