On the social problem selected, this book explores how the peer status of the students can make them be vulnerable to cause the problem in schools. The author has suggested the subcultures based on the adolescence stage can suggest that most of the disadvantaged boys are vulnerable to violence due to the form of peer status (Bonilla, 2015). . Moreover, it also suggests that being involved in group violence in high school undermines the educational performance of the student. The author has also run investigations on the consequences of the group violence and one of them is that it increases the chances of school dropouts.

The article focuses on how the adolescents in high schools are vulnerable to cause violence in schools. The article suggests that according to the world health organization their studies have showed that despite the adolescent group causing violence in schools they are also the ones involved in violence around the society (Jouriles et al., 2016). It states that these period their bodies undergo psychological, physical and social maturity so that they can reach adulthood, in this stage their bodies are very active and that’s why many them indulge in violence related behaviors. The article considers the group being healthy hence having energy to indulge in violence both in schools and also in the society.

This article carried out a research on how various students gives their opinions concerning violence in high schools. The focused students were the ones who had received a displinary punishment for causing violence in the school. The results from the research depicted that most of the students involved in group violence had insufficient problem solving skills, poor mentorship from their teachers, failure to control their anger and poor peer support (Karaman, et al.,2016) . When their performance was investigated it indicated that the students got poor grades in school and repeating classes was the only option for them. The studies also depict that for the students to cause violence in schools the guidance services from the teachers is considered to be very low and that’s why most of the students aren’t disciplined.

This article examines the analysis that was formulated to carry out survey concerning violence in high schools. Many of the principles reported these incidences on 2000. The report states that the violence’s that were caused lead to serious damages in these schools. The violence involved serious physical attack without weapons, students raping each other and robbery in school. The report showed that 92% of the secondary school students caused serious violence. The schools which were involved in these violence’s recorded poor displinary characteristics from their teachers, had principles who never considered academic achievement, students also performed poorly and they had psychological related issues (Violence in U.S. public schools, 2019).
