How to respond to a students response 1

Luke 10: 38-40 is an illustration of how one individual can choose to overload themselves with the work that is meant to be carried by more than one individual. I believe in many cases a lot of individuals, who work for an organization, has the pressure of meeting certain deadlines. Deadlines are a characteristic of any organization whether it is a company that is based in retail, or in clinical. In my experience, my organization expects a lot from the employees. I would not necessarily consider it work overload, I believe the main triggers that cause stress in my organization are at the individual level. I believe that some individuals lack time management, and therefore it causes them to stress about meeting certain deadlines. Although time management seems to be an issue that arises in my department, I do know that in some cases there needs to be a re-allocation of work amongst the employees, especially if the employees are not compensated in a way that supports the demand of work. Although deadlines can seem demanding, it is important that an individual does not become consumed with the demands of work. That why it is important for an employee to properly allocate time. The way an employee handles stress at a job is a direct reflection to how they handle stress outside work. Some things are out of our control, in Luke 10:38-40 it is an illustrate of understanding who we serve and not what. Yes, we are faced with everyday life however some things are not up to us and is rarely in our control. Our lives belong to God, and He does not place more on us than we can bear and once we truly understand that there would be less stress in our everyday life.
