In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, both houses of Congress held hearings relating to the storms and their aftermaths. After reading this week’s material, how have the events of Hurricane Katrina and Sandy impacted the response to disasters of these proportions? Were there significant changes in how these two disasters impacted our lives? Provide specific examples to support your response.
