Successful Mapping of the Muman Genome

Successful Mapping of the Muman Genome

Following the successful mapping of the human genome in April of 2003, ideas like gene editing suddenly seemed possible. Many in the scientific community claim the technology is so easy to use that even middle schoolers are able to understand and use it.  Take a look at the following video to see how Dr. Neville Sanjana, an assistant professor at New York University, explains CRISPR to five different audiences: a child, a high schooler, a college student, a graduate student, and an expert in the field.
