How to respond to a students response 2

“The way the workplace is constructed, physically, virtually, and managerially, can have a critical impact on employee productivity, passion, and innovation” (Haget, Brown, & Samoylova, 2013). Providing office space, utilizing virtual or flexible space is essential in successful teamwork. “Employees need to have areas for concentrated work such as unassigned individual workstations, emergent social exchange (free-flowing hallways), learning (rooms equipped with technology and tools), and collaboration (groups spaces for co-creation)” (Lechner, 2012). The basic rudimentary steps being taken in terms of redesign are what can make having a working space more comfortable as boosting one’s on morale. It is also essential to recognize that changes such as these must occur in order to bring about change in the workplace albeit mentally and socially.

I believe that this redesign will enhance successful teamwork tremendously due to the nature of what has been designed and how it has been designed. If all other coworkers take a look at the change that has transpired in their surroundings I feel that their working attitude will increase substantially due to gaining a feeling of newly discovered motivation. Teamwork will increase by a large number as well considering that if individuals become comfortable with suitable environments to work then that will undoubtedly transform into the preverbal glue that holds everything together. One important factor that has to be included in any place of employment is how the surroundings or environment is built, and that can and will ultimately determine if a company or corporation will be successful.
