You are a professional engineer/manager, working for a medium-sized manufacturing organization.

As part of an initiative to become energy efficient, you have been asked by the top management to lead the company’s effort to introduce an energy management system into the organization.

Therefore, you should develop an action plan to continuously improve your organization to make it perform better, in terms of energy efficiency:

  • You should research into ISO50001 and/or the U.S. DOE Superior Energy Performance (SEP) approach, and provide description about their aim, structure and contents, approaches, training, adaptation and implementation.
  • You should also include compressor, air condition system, boilers regarding the technical aspects of industrial energy analysis, to develop your specific plan and tasks.
