Treatment of the mentally ill, mental institutions and mental hospitals continue to be somewhat controversial aspects of therapy. What is the fate of the severely mentally ill? Should they be hospitalized or not? After reviewing the website, compare and contrast treatment of the mentally ill past versus present and state your views supporting a need for mental institutions or not?
