Review Figures 6.9, 6.10, and 6.11 in your text for examples.
In addition, prepare a 10-15 slide PowerPoint Presentation that supports your choices in structure and visual/tactile support interventions that can be shared with other members of the IEP team.
Include:
- A discussion about the benefits and use of assistive technology for structure and visual/tactile support interventions;
- Examples and types of assistive technology used to facilitate communication skills, support positive behavior, and improve learning in classroom environments; and
- A discussion about how to integrate assistive technology into ongoing instruction.
Include a minimum of three scholarly references. Include slide notes, a title slide, and a references slide within your presentation. Use graphics, videos, and interactive features whenever possible and appropriate.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
